CD RELEASE
I received the absolutely wonderful opportunity to do a limited CD release of the Byte Funkin' Soundtrack with Turtle Pals Tapes. This was part of a series of Friday Night Funkin' mods on physical media, so I was in great company with other projects that had garnered multiple millions of fans.
The CD was a collaborative effort between myself and Dan (@DAMNDAN1EL_), with him doing promotional artwork of the characters, and myself laying it all out into a PlayStation-inspired casing. Turtle Pals were kind enough to specially order jewel cases to really bring it all together.
Owning one of these copies is so surreal and I'm ever grateful to both TPT and Dan for giving me their help in making this a reality.
Retrospective
This project received a sizeable following following its release, thanks to being featured by a few popular YouTubers, and both its inital release and remake having trailers in community events. I met so many amazing people and worked with even more over the course of this project's run - including talented artists, musicians and even a record label.
I built a plethora of skills over the course of development, including but not limited to honing my art and musical ability, on top of a fair amount of leadership experience managing different roles and disciplines that helped along the way.
I'm forever grateful to everybody for giving me a glimpse into my future as a game designer, though at the time I definitely was overwhelmed by having such a huge community response. I learned so much and would absolutely do it all over again.
